Day of the dead in Spain
Maggie of Maggie's World emailed a link to her post describing the Day of the Dead celebration in Spain.
Actually, on this day the cemetery turns into a social gathering place, where the flowers that adorn each grave compete to be the most beautiful, expensive, best, largest quantity or most colorful of all ("ugh, look at the horrible flowers Bertha put for her husband!"). In the cemetery on the Day of Dead people mingle, laugh, chat and even unexpected meetings happen...Thanks Maggie.
