London calling

at the top of the hour... Fans of Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere (book here, BBC series here) will remember that much of the action takes place under the streets of London in abandoned Underground stations... Well, this morning I stumbled across a site with photos and histories of some of these stations here.

I used an abandoned "ghost station" on the Underground for one of the climatic scenes in my vampire book.

I'd forgotten that - the location, not the scene per se.

The funny thing is that I did a site search on 'underground' to see if this had been blogged before, and when 2 hits came up from MotHV, I thought "naturally... of course a vampire'd be underground..."

d'oh...

I don't blame you for forgetting. I'm giving it one more read through before ::knockwood:: self-publishing it and I'm surprised by things in the book that I don't remember.
