Johnny you're absolutely correct. Fright Night is a delight.
I just picked up FRIGHT NIGHT earlier today (before seeing the above mentions of it here)! I enjoy it, too. Been meaning to get it for a looong time on DVD, but there were always more pressing titles that lured me away. But today I finally decided to pull the trigger on it.
Oh, and it's certainly NOT to be confused with NIGHT FRIGHT, starring John Agar, which I watched in the afternoon while I ate my chinese food. Definitely differing quality levels at work between the two.
