King Kong bellows atop the Christmas tree of Bruce and Risa Nye. Bruce obtained the toy for their very first tree, and the playful tradition lives on in their Oakland hills home.

Happy holidays and peace to all, bella, jill and protected static and Haunted Vampires everywhere.
What booty did you get? I got a sweater, a framed collection of photos of my girls, and a DVD of Serenity. All the hints on the blog paid off. Yeah!
We've got company who're leaving in a couple of hours, so we're doing presents in 2 stages. So far, I've gotten some DVDs (Pirates of the Carribean, Brothers Grimm, deluxe edition of Legend), a Richard Hell & The Voidoids CD ('Blank Generation'), and a cool skull-covered t-shirt that The Boy picked out almost entirely by himself.
I suspect that much, if not all, of what remains will be books. Coz', y'know, you can never have too many books.
This will be followed later in the evening by the soon-to-be-traditional ordering of Chinese delivery and the lighting of the menorah...
