The BBC has the story of a team of ghost hunters spending the night in a Cornwall jail built in 1776.

Ten researchers from the Paranormal Site Investigators (PSI) group will use scientific equipment to try and record any spooky goings-on at Bodmin Jail.

Members of the group visited the jail several years ago as holidaymakers and took some photographs which they said revealed "interesting phenomena".

The group, which has believers and sceptics, will spend 10 hours there.

The jail is reputed to be home to several spirits and the PSI team will be using a range of equipment, including infra-red cameras, humidity detectors and electro-magnetic sensors.
