Firefly and Serenity
I know what I'm getting for Christmas. I missed Firefly when it aired because it was a period when I was writing my novel.
After watching the movie Serenity, I went back and ordered the TV series on Netflix. I enjoyed it so much I'm getting the box set as a Christmas present.

Both the movie and the tv show set are on my list too!
Enjoy. The film was a delight I thought, and the series is sadly missed...
...though Joss Whedon must have been somewhat embarrassed when he saw that poster!
