My father

Today is the 21st anniversary of my father's death. I miss him. If your father is still living, maybe call him today and tell him you love him or you're thinking of him.

Thank you for your kind words, Ides.

He was a good man and a good father and I wish he was around for my daughters to meet.

I'll have some great happy stories to tell when I return. I took my oldest daughter to Washington, D.C. with a local group. We met with Senator Byrd and he just loved her. He kept her by his side in every photo. We toured the Capitol with one of his aides and when we went back to his office in the Hart building, Senator Charles Schumer stepped out of the elevator, caught sight of her and bent down to talk with her. Not a bad day for a 7 year old.

My sympathies. I have an idea of what do you feel. I lost my dad 5 years ago. I miss a lot my dad too.

He died of heart attack but he smoked a lot and drink, well, not so much, but drunk too. The sister of my grandma died of "enfisema" pulmonary many years ago after smoke a lot for decades and suffer for years. So, I have more reasons to not smoke (I never like the idea of smoke anyway).

Take care and keep the good memories of him.
