Pimping Pennsylvania ghosts

Ghost hunters are meeting next weekend in Pennsylvania. From the Wexford (Pa.) News Record:

Soon, Butler County will be haunted by dozens of people bent on having a paranormal encounter.

Next weekend, May 14 and 15, members of the Ghosts, Hauntings, Spirits and the Paranormal online community will converge on Harmony, Zelienople and Slippery Rock for their annual gathering.

Butler County has long been the subject of numerous spooky tales - from the resident ghouls reported to live at the Harmony Inn restaurant to the protective spirit of Mose Horton who's said to stalk the grounds of McConnell's Mill at night.

Gloria Fritz - who moderates www.ghostchatter.com, and its sister site, www.haunteddiary.com, along with her daughter, Genevieve McNew - hopes the numerous haunted locales in the area will please their guests, who will come from around the country and even as far away as the United Kingdom.

The mother and daughter duo started the Web sites as a way to tell the story of their own haunted house in Whitehall, a small community in Pittsburgh's South Hills. Though McNew no longer lives there, www.haunteddiary.com is full of her stories of supernatural encounters in the house.

Fritz, who still lives in the home, often updates the site with new experiences.
